After recovering from the awe of the first few weeks we began our con- structive school life by landscaping the front campus. This not only provided practical experience but also added improvements to our campus which are still in evidence. Our other activities of the year included a trip to Great Falls and the first square dance given in the school. Our big event in the eighth grade made in connection with our Core studies was a trip to Fort McHenry And remember the success of our first record dance' At last we were freshmen' We were al lowed to attend Senior High dances and goin some of the activities many of our class were chosen to sing in the Glee Club O V v',ll 'QA K gui' My Qxkstn tx Q' tp work but we did manage to mix in quite a bit of fun That was the year our Glee Club was chosen to sing in the Inter national Pageant of Peace In our junior year our class organized and elected officers President Donald Fddins Vice President Fd Whitehead Secretary Muriel Davis Treasurer anice Nlarks We worked hard raising money to finance the biggest project of the year the unior Prom The result of our labors was an extravaganza to the theme of Rhapsody m Pznk We were proud to be the first to receive our class rings in the spring of our junior year With our senior year came many responsibilities Most important of these was the financing and publication of this yearbook Our year was filled with final touches needed for our fast approaching future As our thoughts now turn to our Senior Prom and graduation we realize the important contributions many people have made to our school life We would like to thank these people and especially our sponsors for their help and guid ance Niay the succeeding classes find their school life as rewarding as we have JJ: :Aa fin: if ?- ,f Q5 I , If e 9 - Cn!
