Eastern Montana College; Business Math E Communications CUSTODIANS Mrs. Barnhart, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Bosch, Mr. Walton, Mrs. Kraft, and Mr. Richardson. Irene Beiber, janitress, never complained and was always helpful and loving as she helped others. Mrs. Beiber died of a heart attack Oct. 12, 1970, while getting ready to take Karen (her daughter) to school. People passing the school may have seen Mr. Brown, the custodian, checking windows and doors late at night or bending to pick up papers blowing in the parking lot. Fred Brown had been part of the Laurel schools for nearly eleven years. He passed away at his home at 1:30 Christmas morning, Dec. 25, 1970. For the students who knew him, LSH can never be thought of without Mr. Brown coming to mind. 13
