SENIORS Senior slop day! Top: Senior visitation day. Bottom: Donnie hard at work on his physics test? Claudine Michels, president; Herb Wood, vice president; Cleone Sahl, secretary; Nicky Cashmore, SAC, Kay Kautz, treasurer; Leonard Nicholas, SAC. The senior class of 1968 showed their industrious skills early in the year by winning first place in the homecoming float contest; Nicky Cashmore was elected homecoming queen. The class kept the tradition of taking Laurel to the State basketball tourney for the third year, nominated Claudine Michels for tourney queen, sent Nikki Nelson to Kalispell for die Junior Miss Pageant, and graduated all 132 members of its class. The class motto is Learning without thought is useless; and thought without learning is dangerous. The class flower is the Peach Orchid and the class colors are peach and ivory. t2
