NO. 1958 DESTINATION ARRIVING ON Adminisuation 3 Senior Class 13 Junior Class 26 Dedication 31 Sophomore Class 32 Freshman Class 38 Organizations 43 Sports 58 Activities 67 P viecowicC A yearbook justifies itself in being a permanent record of a certain memorable period in our lives. Later we may look at it again and remember. It is a compilation of events in a form which represents our school, with at least enough completeness to suggest the rest. No one can compile a record of the future, but the past speaks for itself in our thoughts. As you travel down the track of knowledge, with the Laurel Locomotives, as presented in the following pages, may you enjoy many hours of pleasure along the way. acuity aud s4duuucdtnattcu MR. Representatives. We won the Laurel Leaves contest for selling the most subscriptions. To raise money, we had a popcorn sale and a Valentines Day dance. Janice Hergett and Jim Lutes were Daisy Mae and Little Abner. Our sophomore year we elected Ann Norris, President; Pete Tracy, Vice President; John Kroh, Treasurer; Denny Behm, Secretary and Janice Hergett and Gary Michael as S.A.C. Rep-representatives. We had a carameled apple sale for a money-making project. Our junior year was a busy one. Frank Young was chosen President; Pete Tracy, Vice President; Nancy Klein, Secretary, and Keron Chapman, Treasurer. Gary Groshelle and Jeanette Walters were Daisy Mae and Little Abner. As money-making projects we had our junior play, Time Out for Ginger. We also sold at football and basketball games. Our prom and banquet, Stairway to a Star, was an outstanding success. For our senior year we elected Jeannette Walters as President; Gary Michael, Vice President; Sandra Hartley, Secretary; Judy Ostwalt, Treasurer; and Tony Kucera and Carol Frank as S.A.C. Representatives. Our class play was INSIDE LESTER. We ended our school days by putting on class nite and we made our last appearance as a class on May 28 when we graduated.
