JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS Nancy Klein, Pete Tracy, Frank Young, and Keron Chapman. Jhe juniorm at Seventeen ivene ivonkinq towand thein biq yean. The Juniors elected Sandra Hartley and Denny Behm as nominees for King and Queen of the Laurel Leaves Dance. With the selling of 194 subscriptions to the school paper, Sandra and Denny were crowned King and Queen at the Dance. At the Sadie Hawkins Dance, Gary Groshell and Jeanette Walter, who were Daisy Mae and Li I Abner, were chosen for originality of costumes. Miss Roselyn Mayer, director, and student director, Jeanette Walter presented the Junior Class Play, Time Out For Ginger. Patti Sherrow, in the title role of Ginger, very ably portrayed the spunky teenager who had her own ideas about doing what she wanted to do. Keron Chapman and Larry Herman turned in grand performances as they coped with the teenage problem of their three daughters. Bill Brennan, as the bank president, distinguished himself as a real actor with his imitations and gesticulations. The entire production crew is to be commended and the cast certainly deserved the curtain calls they received at the end of the entertainment. The Juniors this year were lucky to get the new concession stand in the football park. Selling at football and basket ball games as their leading money-making projects. Their prom, which was held in the spring was an outstanding success. 25
