Jerry Vogel, and Mr. Art Smith. ZkJ Trades and Industry, otherwise known as T I, is an active club organized by the mechanics of LHS. The boys fix their own cars as well as the townspeople's cars. As a club, they held their annual turkey sale, and also went on a roller skating party. They took over a new portion of the school which aided them in doing better jobs. Officers are: Carl Fox, president; Ed Wagner, vice president; Gene Leach, secretary. Ed Wagner and John Strecker work on Ed's hand built tractor. First period librarians are Lorraine Crawford and Maria Kelly; second period, Phyllis Noel and Lila Fox; third period, Vicky Bradford and Marjorie Reiter; fourth period, Virginia Gomer and Arlene Johnson; fifth period, Gerry Kaufman and Rita Fujio; and sixth period, Pat McKinney and Marlene Yurian. Regular duties of the girls are repairing books, pasting library cards, sorting magazines, and selecting books. Special duties for the first period girls are writing fines; third period, putting out newspapers; and sixth period, statistics. All the girls helped to prepare the inventory. Bob Bryan and Mary Ellen Albertus make use of the LHS library facilities.
