Pep Club Officers: President, Sharen Foote; Vice President, Marilyn Erickson; Secretary, Louanne Campbell; and Treasurer, Donna Deines; led the members in a very active year of school activity and leadership. Making cheerleading pom poms was a major activity for this year. The club also worked to get more pep assemblies and bus trips. They set a precedent in having successful after-game dances. Their cheer drive proved highly successful. Grayce Boucher and Gerry Kaufman shared top honors for submitting the best yells; Orene Price took second place. Each received a pin with a locomotive crest. Football co-captains. Freeman and Fritzler, lead the annual snake dance with the Central dummy to be burned. Out with the old and in with the new.
