SENIOR HISTORY OFFICERS Dick Williams Shirley Collins Joyce Hafer Ernest Freund President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer We started our freshman year with the following officers: Dan Freund, president; Rex Sommers, vice-president; Pat Gallagher, secretary; Boh Conner, treasurer; Miss Roseoe, sponsor; Gordon Frank, Dan Freund, Dick Williams, and Dennis Johnson, Student Government; Shirley Collins and Ernest Freund, S. A. C.; Pat Bundy and Bill Revell, Laurel Leaves candidates. We won selling honors in the Laurel Leaves subscription drive. We also sponsored a good posture campaign and Pat Gallagher was crowned queen. Our sophomore year started with Joan Greening as president; Dick Williams, vice-president; John Pewitt, secretary; Marge Hughes, treasurer; Miss Roseoe, sponsor; Joan Greening, Dan Freund, Billie Hilderman, Ernest Freund, Student Government; Bob Conner and Joyce Hafer, Laurel Leaves candidates. Joyce won the selling honors this year for the Laurel leaves drive. We sponsored a dance and raffled off an RCA Victor record player and also held several candy sales. Finally we reached our junior year and went to work to earn money for the Junior-Senior Prom. To do this we sold at the football and basketball games. Under the direction of Miss Roseoe and Dick Williams, president; Marvin Fox, vice-president; Kaye Staiger, secretary; Ernest Freund, treasurer; Ken Ellingson, concession manager, we got through our junior year. Miss Doris Amtzen was also one of our sponsors during this year. Kaye Staiger and Virginia Baldwin were co-queens for the Laurel Leaves. Lenna Ferrin and Joyce Hafer were our Girls’ State representatives. Dan Freund, Ernest Freund and Dick Williams were our Boys’ State representatives.
