Homecoming Queen Ioyce Callison and her escort Gary Zeller at the homecoming game just after she was crowned Queen by Gary Day, Student body vice-president. All homecoming activities were sponsored by the journalism class . fournalism Activz'tz'es Two of the main activities of the sixteen mem- ber journalism class this past year have been writ- ing and publishing the school paper, Boonville Hi-Lights , and sponsoring all the homecoming activities . These projects have been carried on under the direction of Miss Marilynn Schmidt. Six members of the journalism class, P. Moehle, L. Sanders, S. Bailey, N. Long, I. Callison, and G. Zeller, compiled and edited the 1958 BUCCANEER under the direction of Mr. Lewis Shoop. This year the journalism department renewed their membership in the Missouri Interscholastic Press Association and became a member of the Quill and Scroll, a national journalism organization.
