The Scholastic Marshals are six Juniors who were chosen on the basis ol their high scholastic averages in their sophomore year. They have V marshalled at recitals, plays, and other programs during the year. They also served at Baccalaureate Services and Graduation. This is one of ' the highest honors a Junior can attain. The- Marshals are sponsored by the Student Council. These scholars represented Latta at the State Mental Contest held 1 Columbia last year. They stood Examinations in Junior English, .enior English, Junior Algebra, Senior' Algebra, Plane Geometry, Liology, and American History.
