g THE INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS Captain HODGSON hm been an invaluable member of the team for two years. An unfor- tunate injury in football prevented him from at- tending early practice, but he soon made up for lost time. lVe would never have got along with- out him as well as we did with him. As a for- ward, none can compete with Hardy for speed and accurate passing. FORTUNE, who played center, is one of our best men. To mention Pete's name is sufhcient as all know of his marvelous skill on the floor. Needless to say. we shall all be glad to have Pete with us next year. TRAYNER played forward, and it still is a mystery how he drops so many shots in the basket. blaybe it's his six feet and some odd inches Q3 or SJ which makes this feat possible. CASEY was a guard who could be depended upon to stop everything coming his way, big or small. Besides being good on defense, he was a wonder in offensive work. NELLIS in many ways proved himself a cager of unusual skill both in playing his position of gu somewhere 'way back at his own end of the Hoor. LADUE, Moa. ard and in dropping in baskets from XVEEKS played forward, and certainly showed that he was no novice in scoring points from right under the basket. SINCERE, either guard or forward. could alw quick succession when the game was at its height. BUNDSCHO and ALLEN came out and showed Captain FELLOWES played center. and could was hardest. Being skilled both in defense and the team. ays be counted on to score points in promising ability for next year. always be found where the playing offense, he was a valuable man on BURNS, who played forward, usually could be counted on to score many points. All Latin men have doubtlessly heard of Burns' long distant shots. He has been a val! uable member of the team for several years. HOGUE has proved himself worthy of his position. Aside from being a remarkable guard, and an extraordinary d1'ibbler, Hogue is very speedy on the H0011 PILLSBURY, our dashing forward, could usually be seen sitting or being sat on by one or more opponents. Nevertheless Pill is capable of playing very good basket- ball, which he did on every occasion. HADLEY usually played guard, and, whenever an important participant, usually ending up with a mad SCl'3llIlJlC took place, he was a backward summersault. Anyway Ray was there with the goods in preventing baskets. and what more can we say? VVALKER, either guard or fonvard, was alwa and next year will probably be one of SCHMID has always been able to share of the playing. KINGSLEY, MORRIS and VENfXRD for future years. ys ready to do his bit for the team, the team's best men. get in a game and be depended upon to do his also came out and showed promising possibilities J.
