Two years later, under the rule of Miss Shirley and, later in the year, Nliss Brady, Clarence Seipp, James Kemper, Nlorse Potter, Eugene Dupee, and Jack Graham joined our increasing class. This was our luckiest year. In fifth grade Nliss Bolcum was our teacher, and in that year Oscar llayer entered. lVilliam CShrimpl Nlorris was our newcomer in sixth grade, which was urged on by our teacher, bliss lX'IcKelvey. In seventh grade, while under Bliss Giles' leadership, there came to us James Snitzler and Arthur Bamtord. Our eighth grade year was begun in the new school. Although we got off to a poor start in the beginning of the year owing to the fact that the new school was not quite finished, we were soon pushed to the top rung of our knowledge by lVliss Taylor. In eighth grade we first met Berkeley Steffenson. Finally after eight years of hard preparation, the wide portals of the study hall were Hung open on the mo1'n of September twentieth and our class, with the addition of Cooke, Lafean and Clancy, Hocked in to be acclaimed green, inexperienced freshmen.
