Although this may be only a rumor, nevertheless Bob's Heetness of foot is equaled only by the Heetness of his Chrysler 70 roadster. During the two years spent with us he has won our friendship and respect by his good sportsmanship and pleasant nature. He is best known as the fellow who raced across the line for the winning touchdown, or Udribbled down the floor and sank a long shot, or beat the ball to the plate by a foot. Senior Prefect, '23, i.,.'u-,i Harold C Benuv j Hodgson. our class presi- dent, was enrolled in C. L. S. one year ago lmt fall, just seventeen years from the day of his birth, July 28, 1900. In a short time he became one of the best-liked fellows in the school, being popular with boys in the Lower as well as in the Upper School, Hodgson goes out for all sports and is considered to be the best athlete in the school. Because of his exceptionally good passing, Latin was able to win most of her football games, and, if he hadn't been injured in the Parker game, we all feel sure that our last contest would not have been such a crushing defeat, As we all expected, Harold received the honor of being the Senior Prefect, which he well deserved. Koch, alias Kochola, first saw 1909. Vic, as he is better known in seventh grade, and he has been with us ever since. He was always an average student, but this year proved his tremendous in- sight into the German language by ranking second highest in his class Cclass consisting of Koch and Rossj. Now let us dwell on more interesting qualities of Vic. He is the possessor of a mellow-toned voice, and can frequently be found huniniing a popular tune to a throng of eager listeners. His ability as a bridge player is known to inany of us. and numerous a1'e the prizes won by hini. illany a fair maiden has been thrilled by Vic's grace- ful dancing and also by his pleasing personality. He has not yet decided which college to attend next year, but we rest assured that wherever he goes, he will win the friendship of all.
