Speed is the Champion Studier of the school. and in this line he is without peer. John has won the respect and friendship of all his classmates through his modesty and his fine personality. He will enter Yale this fall, and we all feel that Latin will have in Barnes a good representative of the class of 1928. Payr 22 Chairman of Rinv Committee

No doubt this date will be declared a hol- iday by our more worthy descendants in celebra- tion of this great event. .lack first came to our most illustrious school in fifth grade, and, except- ing a year spent in Biloxi, has happily remained with us ever after. Burns' wonderful athletic record speaks for itself, but only a selected few know that he holds the school championship for making the loudest noise snapping his fingers. Judging from Jacks popularity and success in school, he must have taken his full share of saxo- phone lessons. Heres wishing him the very best of-luck when he goes to col lege.
