Burns' Grange team conquers Fortune's Blue, 11 to 7, and wins the cham- pionship. 9. Pillsbury continues to verify Mr. Bosworth's statement that he is a perfect . speller as long as Fellowes doesn't watch him. 10. European trips are on every tongue since Sims started to distribute his booklet. 11. Eighth hour privileges granted to three and then given to three more Cafter much kickingl. Check up a moral victory for the Senior Class. 12. Extra! Extra! Big election! 13. Hardy Hodgson elected Senior Prefect. 16. l1f1r. YVhiting has become a poet. VVe celebrate Hadley's birthday and ground hog day. 3. Singing in the assembly! 6. U. High is defeated twice-the Lights 17 to 7 and the Heavies 25 to 21. 7. Hadley's remarkable improvement in form dur-ing the second half of the game can probably be explained by one word-lwaxine. 8. La Due wants to know if One-Eyed Connelley was a Cyclop. 9. Novak divulges the important news that the Folio will be out soon. Hurrah! 10. Heavies lose to North Shore 24 to 22. Lights beat Lake Forest 30 to 2-1. 3 13. No school today. 1-1. St. Valentines Day. It has rained four days in- a row. High school is divided up into two teams, the Oranges and the Blues, for intramural athletics. Wonder how double period examinations will work out next Week? Harold Hodgson of the Broken Bones Society returns to school just in time for exams. Exams! Frank Nicholas, after two years of absence, returns to the fold! More exams! Hurrah! Only half hour sessions. First Junior Club at the Surf-the best ever. Back to the drudge again after a strenuous holiday. 29. The new Ford is announced. 30. Mr. Hodgman is caught sitting on his desk. DEcEMBER- 1 G. N. announces that students who get a B in all subjects for December are exempt from exams. Novak and who else? 2. hir. Northrop leaves our portals in favour of a New York hospital. 5. Mr. Bosworth takes over the reins. 6. The new football sweaters are in style. We wish everyone could wear them! 7. News comes from Way Down East reporting the good health of our head master. 8. Nellis interrupts Press' snooze in study period. Bill objects. 9. After a lengthy vacation, the orchestra honors the school with musical C?J selections. 12. Casey, who went uninjured through the whole football season, came to school with a broken nose received while playing touchball. 13. The unlucky day and nothing unlucky. 14 R. P.
