The year is 2000. The place is Latah, Washington, The day, the forty-fifth re- union of the class of '55, The reunion was planned and organized by IIM CLAUSEN, the owner and manager of the world famous Hotel Aldorf Wastoria. The party is scheduled to begin promptly at 8:00 P. M. in the Crystal Ball Room of the hotel, At exactly 7:59 P, M. a long low red Rolls Royce stops in front of the hotel, and out steps the very dignified Chauffeur Pierre, better known to his classmates as DALE HIR- SCHEL. l-le opens the door for his employer, and we are shocked to see GARY SCHAFER, a famous chemist who is noted for the discovery of Worm Plasma used to cure itching worms. As we enter the beautifully decorated dining room we are greeted by the world famous butlerUIM JANSONy. We are quite shocked to see our old friend ALEX MATT, now the famous TV Cowboy Star Side Saddle Steve fof course he brought his guitar, tooj. Steve seems to be quite upset over the loss of his beloved horse Mattalex, but his sorrows are being brightened now, because the latest guest to arrive is KERMIT ELLIS, a very successful horse rancher from Kleenburn, Wyoming. Kermit has heard about the horse's terrible mishap, and he promises Alex that he will sell one of his horses bgim. I This wonderful animal is supposed to be able to travel as fast as 80'm. P. h. 1 andif Alex hasn't changed from his high school days ------ he will possibly be quite happyiwith -- its speed. A flash is seen and then a roar, everyone dashes to the window just in time to see BILL WOLF and DALE BIPPES step from their space ship, the Rainbow Streak. They have been making recent trips to Mars to represent the United States in Inter-Planer Communications, affecting goof apples of Mars. After removing their asbestos space suits, they go inside to be greeted by JANICE GARBER, the Head Receptionist at the Aldorf Wastoria. Janice went to work at the hotel after she quit the teaching profession, It seems that she couldn't stand the strain of having some of the little darlings in her classes throwing spit wads at her, putting live mice in her desk, and many other little mischievous things that the little angels will do, I As we look toward the door, we see ARTHUR HELMKE. The reason Art is so late, is because he was baby sitting with his seven grandchildren while his wife was shopping. Art fell in love with the most beautiful school. After finishing college, he opened his own Diaper Laundry Art's Diaper Service, and has been very successful in business. Of course his old L.l-I. S. buddies were good customers. Now that the members of the class have all arrived, we will leave them to enjoy themselves, as the years go by, may they remember many very, very happy class re- unions.
