The Lassiter girls cross coun- try team again showed their dominance in the state of Georgia. These girls placed highly at every meet they at- tended, usually placing many runners in the top ten. The was headed by some very talented girls who included Heather Weldon, the Cobb County champion, Danielle Adams, the defending State Champi- on, Meri Lukens, Amy Millican, Stacy Higgins, Joanne Kluss, and Curry Brooks. These Girls and many others dedicated themselves to cross country, and often trained in the rain and cold. The girls team defi- nitely had what it takes, and proved it through their many excellent performances.
