' ■ L The close of 1987 brought many exciting things for this year ' s Trojan Band, including a trip to California to participate in the 1988 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. Over 125 million television viewers watched as the Lassiter Band marched along the parade route. The band spent seven days in California touring North Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Los Angeles. Outings were scheduled including a trip to the San Diego Zoo, Mann ' s Chinese Theater, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Crystal Cathedral. The band also performed at Dis- neyland. This once in a lifetime chance will be in the memo- ries and thoughts of all band members in the years to come. o O w I CLUBS • 249
