THESPIANS The Thespians started their year with a tie dye t- shirt sale and the U2 ticl et raffle. This talented group then performed at Kalaidescope and at the Home for the Elderly. D R A M A The Drama Club, sponsored by Ms. Ohberg, produced several theatrical productions this year. Present Tense, a one-act play, won fourth place at the district competition at Marietta High School. Among other activities were trips to the Theater on the Square, annual Christmas parties, and participation in Southern tech ' s fall Tech Fest. The Orchestra was one of Lassiter ' s greatest assets during the school year. Not only did they perform three times at Lassiter, they per- formed at such events as the Orchestra Symposium at the University of Tennessee and Kaleidoscope. In the spring, the orchestra participated in the GMEA District 12 Orches- tra Festival, where they have scored highly in the past. Its members also participated in the All-State Orchestra. Both Ensembles included members from both Advanced choirs. Practicing only after school, these ensembles per- formed throughout the Atlanta area. Both competed In the GMEA Choral Festival and Solo and Ensemble this year.
