MAHS k O M Faculty assistants to this year ' s Prom Committee were Ms. Haeger and Ms. Hughes, while Ms. Hausdorf was the sponsor and Junior class advi- sor. Among activities to raise money for the Prom, the Junior Class and Prom Committee won the mural category during Spirit Week. This year ' s National Art Honor Society was under the guid- ance of Mrs. Pamela Lowe, an art and photography teacher at Lassiter High School. The club was very busy throughout the school year, focusing on holidays and vacations. The pumpkin carving contest in October, the Christmas Shoppe in December, and Val- entine ' s Day buttons were just a few of the many creative ac- tivities sponsored by this ar- tistic group of individuals. THESPIANS The Thespians started their year with a tie dye t- shirt sale and the U2 ticl et raffle. This talented group then performed at Kalaidescope and at the Home for the Elderly. Present Tense, a one-act play, won fourth place at the district competition at Marietta High School. Among other activities were trips to the Theater on the Square, annual Christmas parties, and participation in Southern tech ' s fall Tech Fest.
