STUDENT COUNCIL The 1987-88 Student Council Officers (pictured above): La- ment Rooker, Neal Williams, Kelly Flinn, Larissa Eakin. Ab- sent: Zac Hunter, Mary Kay Maples. This year ' s Student Council, sponsored by Ms. Poss and Mr. Slater, started with a bang and left with a roar. The year started with the fresh- men initiation, kidnapping them and having a lock-in at the school. The council then built school spirit by sponsoring Homecoming Week. Student Council sponsored the 1987 Homecoming Dance, provided the music in the cafeteria, and held the Kiss the Pig contest. Cafeteria workers received Christmas aprons at Thanksgiving, compliments of this dedicated group of students. During the holidays, this or- ganization helped Cobb Christmas. The new year brought even more activities. They spon- sored the MORP dance in the spring. The Student Council also attended GASC at Rock Eagle this year.
