THIRD ROW: Mr. Powell, Advisory Richard Vial, Bob Grohs, Secretary-Treas- urerg Mr. Irvin, Advisor. Biology Club The Biology Club this year is plan- ning to take a three-or-four-day coast trip to San Francisco. They will earn their money for this trip in various ways. For example: Game concessions, vic- tory dances and cake sales. The trip always proves to be great fun for every- one. Wanderers Club This club was started in 1955 whena group of boys took a trip to Yellowstone Park. In 1956 they returned to Yellowstone to see what they had missed the first time. The year 1957 found these boys touring Idaho, Sun Valley, and the Stanley Basin. This same year they went to San Francisco and saw the 49'ers play Baltimore. The football fans re- turned to San Francisco in December of 1958 to see the 49'ers play Green Bay. The boys earn all their own money. ln the past they have earned money by painting house numbers on curbs, washing cars , and sponsor- ing school dances. The president this year is Larry Ormachea, with Bob Grohs helping as Secretary-Treasurer. Mr. Powell and Mr. Irvin are the advisors . When the club is on a trip they camp out and do most of their own cooking. The size of the club is limited to the number of boys who can ride in two cars. Membership is prized and lack of attendance at meetings or weak participation in projects has not been a problem. FRONT ROW: Wanda Arnold, Christine Tassi, Loma Pine, Elizabeth Wylie. SECOND ROW: Robert Oakes, Hank Kinney, Dale Cralghead, John Dumbauld, lim Green, Craig Potter.
