The girls were fortunate in having two new sports added to their list, archery and swimming. The tirst activities in these sports were a swimming party held at the Roosevelt Swimming Pool, and an archery tournament, which was won by the luniors. The regular sports season began with speedball. Class games were played, with the senior class victorious. lnter-class games in badminton and ping-pong were played, with about ninety members participating. During the winter, basketball tournaments were played, with the seniors again the Victors. On October 23, a play day was held in Greenville, which many ot the girls attended. The annual G. A. A. banquet was held at the Grand Cate on March l6. The All-Star team was announced at this banquet. The Freshman girls have shown a better record in sports than any other Freshman class in previous years. There are one hundred girls in the G. A.
