BOYS' LEAGUE The boys' league elected officers during the first semester and they continued to serve throughout the second semester. Not much was accomplished during the first semester. An excellent program Was presented in the second semester consisting of vocational speakers. The speakers were as follows: Mr. Bridges, Bank of Americap Mr. Moses, I. C. The monthly programs were sponsored by the classes. In the Spring semester vocational talks were given by alumni. The Hi-Iinks, held on March 4, was very successful. Nine girls attended the annual Older Girls' Conference at Richardson Springs, held on April 2 and 3. Mary Alice Holmes was elected secretary for the 1939 Conference for Northern California. At the first party of the year, the new members were entertained at a theatre party. Other activities during the year were a skiing party, a Faculty banquet, and a Gymnasium party. C. S. S E N l O B P L AY One of the year's dramatic highlights was the Senior Play, Growing Pains given on December 10, 1938. This play was an outstanding success, both from a financial and dramatic Viewpoint.
