SOPHOMORE CLASS On September lO, 1937, the Freshman Sophomore tie-up was held. The larger Sophomore boys were victors in the skirmish. The Sophomore Hop was held on April lst. It was a most successful party, the majority ot the student body attending. They also sponsored a concession at the l. C. Carnival. The Sophomore Boys' basketball team was the school champion. The advisers of the Sophomore class Were: Miss Phillips and Mr. Dumont. JUNIOR CLASS The Iunior Class started oii their year oi l938 in full swing by oriqinatinq a class song and yell. They presented a melodrama as a student body program. On March l8 the annual Tunior play was a huge success. They gave the Tunior Prom on May 6. The Iunior class chanqed the traditional class ring with the bear to a classical square stone ring. FRESHMAN CLASS The Freshman Class has been very active this year. lts initiation into the social lite oi the school took place early in September, when Seniors, luniors, and Sophomores entertained at the Freshman reception. The Freshmen put on the iirst Assembly program, an entertainment of music, dancing, and pantomime, receiving high praise from everybody. The Freshman stunt for the Girls' Hi-links also received much applause, as did also the Washington's Birthday program presented tor the February Assembly. The Freshmen competed successfully with upper classmen in the Annual sales campaign and the l. C. Carnival. Class advisers were: Miss Bailey, Miss George, and Mr. Buckles.
