The Tracy, Minn., native is responsible for the upkeep of Lassen ' s internal communications and maintain- ing the ship ' s gyros. He ' s pretty much the go-to guy said ICI(SW) Michael Mendenhall. Humphrey ' s leading petty officer. Because we ' re so undermanned down here, it ' s just the two of us doing the job of five people. In addition to his sizeable workload.
