We, as so many girls had done before us, and so many will do after us, were walking down a path to the future. How many of us realized then that just as we were building our future in the present, so Lasell was building hers? Girls from all sections of the country have helped Lasell to grow toward a better future, and Lasell, with the aid of these new ideas, has at the same time, helped us to grow in preparation for our future. Now as we leave Lasell, many cherished memories will go with us. We'l1 never forget the Barn with the friendly get-togethers and the rush for mail between classes 3 Vespers with the inspiring sermons which made us forget for a moment the hurried pace of our day, and stop and think of more important things, the Snow Ball with the cold of bleak wintry weather outside and the warmth of music, flowers, and gay decorations inside. These memories and many more will go with us. As we now look to our future, so Lasell looks to hers. She soon will see her old wooden buildings replaced by new brick ones, a symbol of her stride, keep- ing pace with the girls who grow up with her. This new campus will be the tangible realization of what once seemed just a dream. With these thoughts in mind, we affectionately dedicate this book to Lasell, present and future.
