Jeff Silver Junior judge Seven students function as justices of the Senior Court. The court is a restricting organization which uses the school constitution as a basis for all rulings and judg- ments. The judges have established the power of ju- dicial review, and they now may function as inter- pretors of the constitution. The Court also has the right to determine the legality of the actions of the Student Government. Senior Court may try viola- tions of school codes. The Court was quite active this year as it utilized the prerogative that has long lain dormant. The Senior Court occupies a basic place in our Student Government-it does its duty well. ROW 2: Albert Howard, Chief Deputyg Darwin Graff, Sergeantg Bruce Woodbury, Captain: David Gubler, Lieutenant. Suing students was a popular pastime during the past year. Individuals were sued by mem- bers of the faculty and the Student Senate. The Student Enforcement Commission played a major role in the suits, since serv- ing subpoenas is one of its numerous jobs. The SEC was organized primarily to dis- courage students who tend to avoid assem- blies. The group also has the duty of en- forcing Senior Privileges, executing school laws and codes, and carrying out the wishes of the Senior Court and Student Senate. Mr. Bailey Advisor ..22-
