R. Guild Gray County Superintendent of Schools dministration i The duties of the County Board of Education are by no means trivial. Uppermost in mind is a single goal 1 progress. In OUR YEAR there were more students en- rolled, and insufficient tundsg a complete revision of the curriculum and a six-period day. Board meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month for the prime purpose of solving the problems presented by the vast number of students in attend- ance, the sale of bonds, construction of buildings, the addition of necessary faculty members, and the ever- increasing demands to be met. The financial situation was not the most desirableg yet the board worked on, striving for the best for the youth of Clark County - for decisions beneficial to all concerned had to be reached. J. In OUR YEAR, Virginia Getz stepped into the position of attendance secretary. Ginnie's winning smile and knowing wink are ever-present, no matter what the hour of day. Along with such stalwarts as Louella, Mrs. Compton, Mrs. Wilcox, Mrs. O'Malley and Tuffy - everyone's favorite policeman - she is now a part of our school, Routine can be extremely dull, yet our schedule is never routine.
