Sue Adams Donnette Aiflren , In Class . . . An abundance of work sheets, geometric figures, and English outlines compose this senior year. Finally realizing the importance of education, the senior tries harder to learn. American history and civics are two courses that each senior must take. But he has many other courses from which to choose: Senior English, family life, senior drama, physics, psychology, solid geometry, and trigonometry. Of course, he still finds plenty of time for extracurricular activities. Many hours are spent working on plays, and elections, student council, Desert Breeze and the Echo. The future affords college, marriage, and the service, but always to be remembered are the cherished moments spent here, as the largest senior class in Las Vegas High School history C4761 The seniors will remember that the rivalry between three high schools, Las Vegas High School, Rancho High, and Gorman High School, was just beginning as they - the last single gradu- ating class of Las Vegas secondary schools - were leaving. Seniors experience many things during their school years and they use these experiences to pattern their lives. What goals will each senior reach as he goes out into the world? Will he fulfill his highest expectations? What will happen to the 1956 senior . . .
