ADMINISTRATION AND FACULTY After months of planning by Superintendent Neil Parsons and the Board of Acalanes High School Dis trict, Las Lomas High School was first opened in Sep- tember of l95I. During the past four years we have Q seen the completion of thirty four classrooms, a metal and wood shop, gymnasium, locker rooms, multi-use room, stage, administration and counseling offices and a library. This year nearly 760 students are enrolled at Las Lomas. Estimates indicate that as many as 1800 stu- -- dents may be attending this high school by 1960. NEIL M. PARSONS Miramonte, the third high school in the Acalanes dis- Dlsffid Superintendent trict, is now under construction at Orinda. The dedicated efforts of Principal Leland S. Russell have been of incalculable importance to the successful growth of Las Lomas High School. Working closely with parents and civic organizations, Mr. Russell has guided faculty and students through four years of fruitful de- velopment. The first milestone has novv been reached.
