the royal blues Student Council's theme for Homecom- ing week this year was based on one of the most popular movies of 1985, Back to the Future. The week began with Hat-n-Sunglasses day and continued with Nostalgia day, Future day, Tourist day, and the ever present Red and Blue day. The Homecoming court consisted of sophomore Princess and Prince, Amy Bonney and Eddie Pena, juniors, Amy Strauss and Jeff Durhsen. The senior court was made of Princess and Prince Robin Noble and Chris Kinkaid. The reigning Queen and King were Trisha Alba and Steven Gale. Homecoming day began with the usual excitement and anticipation felt before the game. This year students were dis- appointed because the administration had changed the scheduled early dis- ,missal for the parade from 2:15 to the regular 3:15. Around the school, com- plaints could be heard like, Why don't they let us out early for the parade? Then at 2:15, enthusiastic shouts could be heard all over the campus, the ad- ministration had changed its mind and decided to let us out early!!! The game was an exciting one in which 4 the LCHS Bulldawgs played the Albu- querque Bulldogs. Although we lost, we gave an impressive showing. LCHS looked tough and played as well as any- one could ask them to. The crowd's support never faltered throughout the game. Everyone was proud to be a Bull- dawg! Way to go team! What a week it was! Everyone together in school spirit and school pride. The memories made up of parties, the big game, the parade, and the laughter we all shared in will never be forgotten. Homecoming is a time of story making, stories that will be told to many grand- children, by many grandparents who had a superb week at their old high school, LCHS. 1 Karin Cano is startled by photographer while working on the junior float. 2 LCHS co-presidents, Pam Simpson and Phillip Paniagua enjoy a ride down the homecoming path. 3 Karen, Johnny and Anthony clean up their mess. 4 Amy Strauss and Jeff Duhrsen, junior princess and prince pose for a cheering crowd during half-time. 5 LCHS Bulldawg trounces an Albq. dog on the junior float. 6 Amy Bonney and Eddie Pena are pronounced sophomore princess and prince. rd 13, ri? gtk' 4- w.v'p if
