We in the United States have a tradition of sharing. Our country is populated by a diversity of ethnic groups representing many races, many creeds, and many cultures of mankind. Thus in a sense each of these is part of usp we are part of each of them. Through education we seek to achieve a unity out of diverseness. We cannot forget our kinship with diverse peoples and our debt to diverse cultures. THE REALITIES OF THE PRESENT. Unquestionably the most significant of the realities of the present is a rapid awakening to the existence of new and limitless frontiers-new social frontiers encompassing the welfare of human kind rather than of national groupsp new geographic frontiers lifted from the bounds of the earth to all the universeg frontiers in thought consonant with the concept of mankind on the threshold of an era in which growth and achievement may overshadow all that has gone before.
