The Seniors won the contest staged by the Sophomore, Junior and Senior classes. This spring the Bulldog basketball team journeyed to Albuquerque, where they carried away all the honors. On this winning Roach, Reuben Maynez and Jack Stroman. If country, there would have been another senior in the Navy of the United States. The boys were also active on the gridiron, the football team-Paul Roach, Ralph Stidham, Carlos Salas. The girls came in for their share of honors v team were three senior boys-Paul it had not been for a call from his on that team-Eugene Roth, who is for there were five senior boys on Jack Stroman, Philbert Armijo and too. Three girls among the seniors were outstanding in Physical Activities-Rose Tashiro, Nina Telles and Betsy Biel. Three girls were yell leaders-Carroll Warren, Barbara Anderson and Helen Pappas. Two girls were co-editors of The Crosses-Dorothy Jett and Alice Johnson. Carol Conlee and Carroll Warren were co-editors of The Union. The annual play was held by the senior class on April 27, 28. It was outstanding in its production, casting and presentation. Perhaps the hardest working person on the production staff was Mrs. Martin, the sponsor of the class. It was through the efforts of the President, Paul Roach, that transportation was obtained and the class was able to go to the White Sands for Senior Sneak Day.
