prophecy It was December 30, I999, I landed in New York from a mission from Mars and had a two day vacation coming so I decided to take a trip back to Larwill . On my way through Washington, I thought that I would stop off and see an old classmate of mine, Gale Weybright, none other than President of the United States. That afternoon Gale and I went to the theater to see the great opera star. It surprised me immensely when I discovered it was Diane Wilson My plane left 20 minutes after the opera was over, so I left him and hailed an electric taxi, I told the driver I wanted to go to Washington National Airport. We had gone about three blocks when I discovered that the cab driver was a woman, in fact it was another old schoolmate, none other than Jean Keiser. We had a short talk on the way to the airport. At the airport I boarded my private rocket plane, seconds afterward we blasted off. As we approached the ray antenna on top of the Lincoln Tower, in Fort Wayne, which is now the tallest building in the world, I noticed some one waving a ray light from the top of it. As we made a mid-air stop to pick up the man, I noticed it was Jerry Terman, the Worlds most famous hitch hiker. I left Jerry in Columbia City and proceeded to Larwill. When I landed in Larwill, I was greeted by the sheriff of Larwill, Steve Duggins. He .asked me to come to court with him and meet the iustice of the court--Lawrence Keirn. While at the court, I heard ofa robbery that had occurred at the largest super market in the city only the day before. After further inquiry, I found that the super market was owned by the former Elizabeth Miller. After leaving the Court, I put in CJ call to PrOfessOrt'I'rump at the University extension here in Larwill . The operator must have put me on the wrong line for I overheard two ladies talk about the former Glenna Witmer who is writing through the local lonely hearts club managed by Patty Reeg. lt seems through the lonely hearts club Miss Witmer had become a bigamist. During the conversation I deducted that one of the ladies was the former Nancy Eber, now a housewife and the other was Patty Long, the local Spinster. QPardon me for eavesdroppingj When I got through to Professor Trump, we got to talking of some of our old friends that had graduated from the University and I had lost track of long since. Leola Brunner had become Dean of boys at the University and Donna Wilkinson had become mascot of the Zollner Piston's, this years world champions in basketball. It seems that Carl Gebert had become a great weight lifter and Dorris Ewers had gone to the Olympics as a great track star. Carol Thomas was a lady wrestler until someone broke her leg. After I finished talking with Professor Trump, I stopped at a newsstand and bought a Larwill Tribune. There was a public sale advertised for that afternoon so for old times I thought I would go. Such a sale was rare now days so there was quite a crowd. As I mingled through the crowd I bumped into Joyce Jenkins, the county veterinary. We talked awhile and then I proceeded over to where the selling was going on. Much to my surprise who was one of the auctioneers but Orin Cummins. After the sale I went back to my space ship to take off for Mars for I, Dean Blanchard, was due on the job the next day as chief beauty operator for the queen of Mars. I7
