He is a gradu- ate of De Pauw University, and has is M A from Indiana University. Mr. Holycross has lived in Larwill commu ity all his life. He is mar- ried and has a daughter, Jane. we wish to especially commend him for the cooperation with the PTA in setting up a functioning lunch unit this year. 'X if ', l VN V . '-ar-vw-z .- We, the Senior Class of 1950, wish to express our thanks to you, our Parents, Teachers, and Classmates, for your untiring aid and enduring patience throughout these twelve years of educa- tional achievement. At times going on and finishing this education was hard, but now as we are graduating we are sure it was well worth the effort put forth by you and by us. Today our world is attempting to obtain peaceful relationships with other coun- tries. This peace can be obtained more quickly if the citizens of each country are educated people. Now as we are finishing our education, we feel confident that you have cultivated in our minds, the high ideas and ideals that is neo- essary for every responsible citizen in this world. Thus we have not only helped ourselves, but also, we are contributing to a world cause. The motto we have chosen is 'Not finished, just begu .' We are finish ing our high school life. Tomorrow we will be starting our life work. we are sure that from your guidance we will be able to succeed in our u dertakingsg whether they be in the ranks of industry, business ag- riculture, or professional life. Our closing activities and Senior Trip, which will take us around Lake Erie, could not have been possible without your help. We apprectiate this very much. We are glad to present these programs for you, but regret that these are the last activities we will be participating in at Larwill High School. Parents, teachers, and friends, on behalf of the graduating class of l95O, I wish to greet you and hope that you will enjoy this review of our high school days. , Although the highest points have come in our senior year, there have been other experiences and events which we treasure. There has been, for instance, the Junior Class Play last year, the Junior Senior Reception, the sports and class parties, all school dances, club activities and many others which have given us so much to look back upon. Now the time has come when we must look ahead into the things that lie before us. We are looking forward to some enjoyable times on our trip which will take us to many interesting places, then, of cours, a last time together, graduation. Then we will be leaving our school life behind us and entering a new kind of life. Some will go on to college, others will get jobs, a few will probably marry soon and take on family responsibilities. Whatever it is that we do, we shall endeavor to put into practice the variously trained skills and techniques which we have learned here. The members of this class cannot do these things, though, without see- ing all the assistance we have had from all of you. So we take this opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation to you.
