FRESHNAN CLASS HISTORY At the beginning of the freshman school year, twenty- four pupils were Richland Township residents, thirteen came from Troy, one moved in from the Huffman school and two mov- ed in from Grass Creek, Fulton County, making a total of thirty-eight members, the largest class in high school. No one moved in or out since school started. There are sixteen boys and twenty-two girls, This class is the only high school class to have twins, Arlene and Maxine Kite. The following officers were elected: President-Argyle Jackson, Vice-presidentfD0r1s Deeter, and secretary-treasur- er-Jo Mary Watkins. Mr: Thurlo Schuh is the class sponsor, and Elaine Noble and Esther Martin are the freshman report- ers for the nHome Run:W Class colors are black and white. A Weiner-marshmallow roast was held in Jim Reids' woods for our first semester party and a roller skating party at the UHappy Valley Rinkn for the second semester. Those coming from Troy this year, are: Marlon Beard Jack Terman, Harold Snyder, Lowell Roblnette, John Werstler, Shirley Marrs, Doris Deeter, Orpha Watson, Olive Watson, Josephine Marker, Normgw Marrs, Lois Blanchard, and Esther Martin. Beverly Cripe came from Huffman School and Jim and Jr, Werrick came from Grass Creek, Fulton County. Those grad- uating from Larwill 8th and entering high school are: JO Mary Watkins, Leo Bair, John Roadarmel, Betty Miller, Jo Anna Landis, Arlene Kite, Maxine Kite, Jo Anna Landis, Beulah Holycross, Argyle Jackson, Fred Kemery, Merl Kistler, Ray Eberly, Grace Gaff, Audrey Faurote, Glea Eberly, Jeanette Rubrake, Evelyn Cramer, Wilbur Waterson, Elaine Noble, Dale Reeg, Junior Studebaker, and Noelys Hawn.
