I packed my things and went to the station to get on the Grey- hound. I stepped up into the Greyhound and was I surprised when I sow Glen Johnson in the drivers seatg I knew that he had always wanted to do something like that. I went back to find a seat and who do you suppose I met? It was Mary Ellen Groves, She told me she had just accepted a job as a dancer in a night club owned by Gerald Orcutt, in' Indianapolis Gerald running a night clubl Ho wonder he wanted to take Home Economics when he was a Senior. I had just get onto the road and started towards town when along came an old Vodel-A, It came to a stop and How- ard Reid said, NHop in if you're going to town. He then informed me that he was a dare-devil out at the speedway. That time he rolled over back in Larwill and didn't get hurt gave him the idea of Heins Q dare-devil. He sald that he drove his Model-A in the races and everytime he get it up'm 120 it had the most peculiar rattle. tith Howard diving me all this inside information on racing it wasn't long until ho had me rt my destination, I thanked him for the ride and started to the hospital, and as I went to enter, the door opened and out came Halen Tuttle. he stood and talked for a while and as she was being over to the chemical building to see if Jack Lstlick hvd made any prorress on his new cure for seven your itch, I went along.
