J looking at my tea leaves tonight, a spell was As I was cast over me, throwing before me a vision of the -future of our class. A calendar appeared, showing it to be the month of May in the year '49. 'A A medium-sized figure slowly shapes itself out' of the mist. I cannot make out who it is ---- Oh yes---It's Schuyler Van Voorst, a semi-truck driver, and alongside him appears the once Treva Souder. This family is very well liked. They are rearing little moving nvansn. Y . They fade--and now we see Daurice Birch. She is operat- ing an NArts of Leven school, catering to bashful young men. Seeing that she was very well educated about the nArtsU of love in high school, her school was a very brilliant stroke of genius. Ross and Esther now appear. They are still admiring each other at a distance, but haven't donehanything about it yet. Esther's slogan is, HTry and try, again, girls, you'll get your man at last.u Estel Jackson new appears ---- showing in himself a husky truck driver, having a girl at every stop! He don't know whether to stick by the little St. Louis gal or get him one in New York. v Since the curly hair is now the vogue, for young men Mary Beard has opened a beauty shop for the young nRomeos5 who wish curly hair so they can catch their girl friends in the snare of matrimony. The name of her shop is the nMugg Overhauling and Beauty Shop.u This fades-and now we see a beautiful highway---we hear the roar of a powerful motor ----- a car leaps into view ---- it comes to a squealing stop and who should step out but Art Kile. Well, well, Art says that he has just won the speed title at the Indianapolis Speedway. New we see Marjorie Hickman in the cosy home in the beautiful Wabash Valley. This match was finally made after Paul had burned up many gallons of gas, not to mention the two sets of tires. Winona Klingaman now appears as a nurse in a well known hospital in Fort Wayne. At last her dream of romance has come true. An army captain, who was injured in an automo- bile accident, and is in the hospital, has fallen in love with her. They expect a climax in June. Lucille Gradeless new appears on the field of visionf As she was very lonely in High School, she has started a Lonely Hearts Club for bashful young girls who wish dates with handsome boys. This is accomplished via the route of the telephone. She has now perfected a system whereby tele- phone calls cannot be traced. The picture now appearing is very unusual indeed. It surprises me. It is Lowell Kemery and Dorothy Estlick. Low- ell is the president and owner of the nHoot-Owln Brewing Corporation. While Dorothy, home maker that she is, keeps house and attends all the needs of her darling Lowell, also all the bridge parties in the com unity. She is also a prominent welfare worker. Walt Krisher, the Romeo of our class now appears on the scene., He has dedided that he liked the Northern Gals bet- ter than the Southern Gals, and has settled around Etna be- cause he didn't want to wear the road lopsided going to and from there. And new we see Ruby Marrs. She has met a very handsome man. He is U. R. Dumm, and is president of the 'No-Stickn Safety Pin Corporation. Ruby obtained a job as a private secretary in his office and worked there about a year when he began to notice thft she had a very interesting way about her. He took her out to lunch numerous times---thus leading up to a perfect romance., They can hardly wait until June 1. The scene new shifts to Herman Eberhard. He is a pilot for the Transcontinental Western Airways. He is a confirmed bachelor. But Herman, you want to watch out for that little stewardess, for she is out for you.
