Once upon a time on a cold, Windy winter day in the life of Mr. Schauner he entered upon his government classroom only to find the Senior class of 71 absent. Mr. Burkes, hearing the sobbing from across the hall, rushed to aid Schauner and Totten. The three stood in mournful silence. Intensive research was begun as the great minds of LHS groped for clues as to the whereabouts of the Class of 71. Eb THE CASE OF THE In frantic dismay the troubled Schauner rushed to break his perplexing discovery to Miss Totten. Miss Totten appeared near tears as Schauner delivered his bad tidings. Soon the news of the missing Seniors had spread throughout the school, The Big Three met in an emer- gency meeting to discuss the situation. Mr. Fischer put his vast mind in Search of the solu- tion. Yet still nothing occurred.

With the crises now resolved harmony was once again returned to Larned High School. . . Meanwhile, an overjoyed Mr. Schauner did some cel- ebrating on his own. 11 just as things were appearing the darkest Mr. Gathman was heard to exclaim I've got it! Mr. Gathman had solved the case of the missing Seniors! . . .And happiness once again roamed the halls of LHS. And so ends the Case of the Missing Seniors.
