From the sidelines, it stirs the school spirit in the players as well as the fans. During the halves, its march drills and music are well received by the crowds. i The Kappa Alpha Delta, a literary society, was founded in Larksville High School on F , y A3 ' A x 1 January 17, 1921, the name Kappa Alpha Delta, was taken from three characters of the Greek Alphabet, in script K. A. D. The sponsor of this society is Miss Helen O'Connell, whose aim is to inculate in boys and girls the highest ideals of Christian manhood and Womanhood, by encouraging them to seek the best in literary accomplishments. The motto of the society is WKnowledge and Wisdom are the Sires of Fame.W The colors are Red and White, the flower is-a white rose--symbols of Love and Purity. Membership is limited to Juniors and Seniors of the high school with a B or higher in English scholarship. Officers of the society are: President. ............. ....
