Quill and Scroll Promotes Good Iournalism The Quill and Scroll club takes the time and has the responsibility of promoting the journalism field at Largo High. Each year the club tries to induct more members for the coming year. A member must be a senior with at least a 2.6 overall average. Miss Curris, Quill and Scroll sponsor, helps the club to distribute a creative magazine as a service for the school. With Iune Richdale, President: Debbie Ensor, V.P., Roxanne Fel- smaier, Lee Berglund and Sheila Garrett, officers, the American Field Service Club lives to promote understanding and appreciation among the various cultures of the world. Exchanging students with different countries is the main objective of AFS. Chico Cantoni was here for the first semester from Italy, and Tom Peterson of Sweden was here for the second semester. With lots of parties and get togeth- ers of all area AFS clubs the mem- bers got to know a little bit about our exchange students and their countries. Slides were shown by Chico and Tom of their homelands, and by june and Debbie Ensor of the countries they have visited. Mrs. Garrett is the AFS sponsor. N APS Welcomes Two Exchange Students Wistar.
