DECA Helps Mold Future For Students DECA chapters are to DE students what a civic or professional organiza- tion is to a group of businessmen. Their activities are recognized as part of the total educational program because they help in the development of leadership ability, professional atti- tudes, better citizenship characteris- tics, and social growth of the individ- ual. Members attended an Officers Training conference in Miami Beach, held a business luncheon with guest speakers, as well as their annual Employer-Employee Banquet, toured a Publix warehouse, donated Christmas baskets to needy families and sold scented candles as a fund-raising pro- ject.
