JANUARY As New Year Celebrations End. Classes Resume Althoughithis winter was one of the mildest on record, Jamie Arnold, Margaret Purcell, and Cathy Fulmer will remember that there were a few cold snaps. Sonny Hood, Ann McGee, and Roger Vrecland take part in Pride Week by wearing their club unifonns on Club Day. After Christmas vacation and celebration of the New Year, students resumed classes and prepared for semester exams. Students showed respect and pride in clubs, seniors, teachers, and school during Pride Week. After student nomination and faculty approval, Mr. and Miss LHS were chosen and announced at a dance in their honor. Students manage to squeeze in a few extra minutes of cramming between exams
