Spiri+s.Hopes OF A Winning Season Fall Short Jerele readies for needless rebound. The '65 squad became the first Largo team in four years to win three consecutive basketball games. Though their season re- cord was not a winning one, the team played some exciting games. Captain Dennis Schrader led the team in pointmaking, staging remarkable offen- sive performances in each game, and setting a new school scoring record. From the first contest, he took the PCC scoring lead and during the early season held a 30 point average. Senior Doc Hammond, the team's leading rebounder, and guard Louis Baker made some outstanding plays. 97 Another two to Louie Baker's credit. A Hammond distracts Viking shot, Schrader takes great pass resulting in easy lay-up.
