In the Lanay Harvard Cadillac. Buick Agency and Garage we met mechanic Wayne Enfinger and General Motors designer Ed- mond Harwood. Pete Sessions also worked for Gen- eral Motors in the testing field. The newest in Iris Rosenfeld and LaVonne Johnson clothing stores was being built on the next corner in a very fashionable part of the business section of town. I noticed on thc sign standing in front of the construction that Sonny Youngblood was the contractor and that Lar ry Tipton was the realtor At the Peter Fox and Donald Forehand Law Firm Pat Klein Judy Meares Sandra Sumners and Lois Tift were employed as stenographers We stopped and chatted with these friends for a few minutes then moved on to our next stop as it was growing late This stop was Robert Enschs Super Market As we talked to Robert we saw Arlene Emery Diane Hardwick and Joan Gauthier. who were doing their weekly marketing. Both were now married and were proud possessors of lovely families. They told uf: about two more of our former classmates. Jeanette Henderson and Lillie McCall had become beauticians and together ran a training school in Los Angeles. California. Judy Krieg was an important jeweler at Saks in New York City. On the way out of the store we met Nancy Fore- hand Dave Wotawa and Tommy Tarbox They told that they were partners in a horse breeding ranch They invited us to come out to the ranch for the weekend but of course we were unable to do so as I had an important appointment Monday morning a home We regretfully made our apologies and started for home I certainly am tired from such a rushed weekend but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and can hardly wait for the next one goodnight diary emot .Qatu tm! lull lxann x onnt I IW Ahmmson lcul Allin -Xlchm Bxrtxn l1n1ts 'Xlltn Cnld1 -Xx try -Xndtrson 1rrx Ll t -Xnlxtrx ll1rrx I ugh Blrbtr IFN I is Fuss Pnssxll l1mts l lxx 1rc Bum llllllt h I Ll Pnxur utr XX llllx l'mxl1n5,tr l1mt 1Ir t Cuxxxx llxlgsh Xnn C Non til 7 ll fnnoxtr llolrhq lx ng, 4 n nm 0 lluntinls lflll sporls XXt1g.,l1I lllll 5, lhnting, C1rs lhing, xx lnsxxx xx 1r1 I 111 int, Sports mc il lrts Drxxxinh Sports 1 dr1xx1n si nt tlol Nluxit lluntm -In lmzlmn lu 11rl1nt sltxx 1rdLss 1t 3, 11111 xx 'll'dLIl 0 oxxn 1 hunt td ts ol ll xlotlx r111 lo lu 1 mmdtl L lu tklflxllll Q In Qutuss 1,11 Illl'Ullg,l'l xusxnxxs tn tu I IWIUIQSSIUHII fl I mltxs1x1111l but W1 1s11un dtsitntr 1 xlltlr 1 I t 1 K llfltf L SOSl1nxxs 1 yarn x 111 t liLlllillIfll llrll Vx orlxing ll ulxlix S111 lx mx ll 1 Shortlnnd orlxing, xxnln tOnlrltlx1rS S1lxsn11n Ltplnx, Olll iruu 1 L l1xx ns 'l fl xx ini, ll lro t fflxl lx VILIO nl lrx 1 lxx Sllltlllfl She flllllltl I Ill In X It fzmmn Onnit C-l'llLl Furl ll pi x 1 SPILILI 11 B ix IMO xt LS I UI xprtxszimrv II I1 xou In lx lhxr 1 lxllllt Shut xour QL XI1 h 1 Ill 711. MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE ln April the comedy MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE was presented to the students and townspeople of l.argo. Under the able direction of Mrs. Mary Evans. the play proved to be a great success. The plot was about an eccentric man named Stanley Nichols who had been writing books under the name of Cirandma l-etty. The National Foundation for Grandmothers had nominated Grandma l.etty to be named i'Cirandmother of the Year . Because Grandma l-etty was really a man. the situations were difficult and trying. In order to protect his own name and position. Stanley Nichols reafly had to put on his thinking cap and this left the cast in complete chaos. lt xx as trulv a plat with high hilarity arid clean fun-f-jttst great. IWIFUJ Ihttu Qi N f 1.
