Arturo Herrera, Gilberto Perusquia, and Jose Serna Qrightj gather for talk and smoke be- fore the evening bell. Late footsounds lead out of the dark to the mechanical drawing room, Learning at Laredoans who desire to work towards a college degree, in- crease their proficiency in various skills, qualify themselves for civil service positions or merely to liberally further their formal education, find the Evening Sessions at our College their oppor- tunity. Several hundred persons comprise the student body which uses the classrooms, laboratories and library from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Those present then include Laredo Air Force Base person- nel, proprietors and employees of local businesses, residents of Nuevo Laredo and other nearby places.
