PU Rites Character, loyalty, and friendliness. These qualities counted most when L. I. C. students cast their choice for Spurites. Besides these sterling- features of personality, the five men and the five women given their spurs on the following pages as this year's Spurites met or exceeded qualiications as listed in the college catalog. These eligibility requirements state that a stu- dent must meet certain academic standards and that a candidate for such an honor must be approved by the faculty and the ad- ministration. While THE SPUR presents these chosen ten as representative of our campusis best, it was the student body alone which nomi- nated and selected the Spurites. THE SPUR believes ten more women and ten more men should also be recognized. These twenty, listed below, are the closest Spurite runners-up.
