S.A.C.S.S. Fully Accredits L.J.C. The Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools fully accredited Laredo Iunior College at the Associationis 62nd annual meeting held December 5, 1957, in Richmond, Virginia. This, represents the highest step in accreditation and academic respectabili- ty that a junior college or school may attain. An evalu- ation committee representing the Association had surveyed the campus and all its activities during the fall. The committeeis report was another step toward the final accreditation. President and Mrs. W. I. Adkins attended the Richmond meeting. The college was commended for its spirit and also for having a Well-balanced and qualified administrative staff, a faculty that was superior to the average junior college, and a well-planned and developed set of board policieS and administrative proceduresf, President Adkins re- ported.
