Later in the Fall there were late rehearsals, costumes and make-up mum fm . B Jm . . And finally the token of esteem which was so very much deserved by one whom we soon lost. wmk ■%- ATV Jki Then came Homecoming, highlighted by the various clubs’ selection for queen. We too held an election on November second. But first there were vigorous campaign speeches and of course many a friendly feud. There were rewards as The Two Mikes” accept, on behalf of the football team, their award for becoming state co-champions! Frolic, fun and fancy free, Guess who’s the one with me?' MR. Z. O. On December 20, Miss Velma Linford made her final appearance as sponsor of the troupe at the annual Honor Night. Before leaving for her new job as State Superinten- dent of Public Instruction, Miss Linford turned over the direction of the troupe to Miss Shirley Hill who had acted as co-sponsor during the first half year. Awards for previous efforts were presented by Miss Linford.
